Millimages has signed broadcast deals for its animated shows Bugged, Me and My Robot, Trust Me I’m a Genie and CJ the DJ.
The Timoon-made 3D animation Bugged has been sold to ABC in Australia and RAI in Italy. The Canal+ show is inspired by the classic burlesque cartoon style, with no dialogue, gags and mishaps.
The 3D animated Me and My Robot follows the everyday life of a group of friends at a high-tech robotics school. The show has been pre-sold to DR in Denmark, NRK Norway and SVT Sweden, while VRT has picked up the show in Belgium.
Trust Me I’m a Genie and CJ the DJ have been signed by MTV3 Finland and TV2 Denmark and both properties have been sold in Ireland, with CJ the DJ going to TG4, and RTE for Trust Me I’m a Genie.
John Reynolds, group commercial director at Millimages, said: “There continues to be an international demand for quality animated properties for kids of all ages and we are thrilled to have signed so many deals with key broadcasters at MIPCOM.”
