Mind Candy has hired Sam Ferguson to take its Moshi Monsters brand worldwide.
He joins as senior consumer products manager and will head up UK and international roll out for consumer products, as well as the management of Mind Candy's international licensing agencies.
He has experience at The Beanstalk Group and Global Brands Group, and has looked after brands such as Movie Star Planet and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Ferguson told ToyNews: "A big goal for me was working for a brand owner. So to be part of that decision-making process where we can do something differently to get the product to market, in a way that is right for the brand, is tremendously exciting for me.
"I’ll be looking after the UK and international markets where we have established programmes, so Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, UAE, some areas in Europe, and Spain will be a big focus."
