Minions and Jurassic World have helped leading publisher Centum Books to top the latest children’s publishing charts.
For the second consecutive week, Centum Books has dominated the Top 20 in two charts published by the trade title The Bookseller, based on sales up to July 3 this year.
Three of Centum’s titles from the Minions range have ranked sixth, seventh and eighth, while in the Small Publishers Children’s Top 20, the firm has featured six titles in the top ten, the leading licensed publisher in the category.
In the same category, Centum has secured 50 per cent of the chart with both its Minions and Jurassic World titles.
Centum Books has published a full range of Minion movie titles across retail channels with new titles due out in the run up to release of the DVD and the Christmas period.
“This success is testament to an amazing movie from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment and the team’s hard work in ensuring that we maximise this success in terms of publishing,” said Geoff Reynolds, managing director, Centum Books.
“We are over the moon with these results especially given that two of the titles now appear in the overall top 50 books in the UK market.”
