Aardman Rights is previewing a pilot for its new pre-school show offering, Ploo, at Mip Jr this week.
The stop frame, 52 x ten-minute series is based on the Blue Nose Island books by Mick Inkpen and has been adapted for television by Jackie Cockle, the creator of Aardman's Timmy Time.
The characters are all voiced by children, with the show aimed at three to five year olds.
"The world of Blue Nose Island is magical, colourful, unusual and, very importantly, it's fun," said Cockle. "Ploo's world is calm and gentle, but very intriguing and relatable to a pre-school audience."
Aardman's head of broadcast, Miles Bullough, added: "We are looking forward to talking to broadcasters all over the world about Ploo. It's very exciting to be coming to the market with a brand new show to talk about."
