Monty Python goes global with CPLG

Firm signed as international sub-agency that will see it represent the brand across the world.

The territories included in the new deal include France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy and Canada. This adds to an existing representation deal with Stella Projects that covers Australia and New Zealand.

The deal comes at a time when the brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary, leading to range of new activity. Sony is due to release a DVD box-set and is also releasing Monty Python and the HOly Grail: The Immaculate Edition.

A one-off stage show starring Eric Idol hits London's Royal Albert Hall on October 23rd and a new Python documentary is also due for theatrical and DVD release later this year, dollowed by TV broadcast around the world.
