The licensing programme for DQE's The Jungle Book is gaining momentum, with UK agent CPLG inking a deal with outdoor toy specialist Mookie.

The firm will roll out product including wheeled bicycles, tri-scooters, tricycles, balance bikes, sit n rides, play balls, outdoor activity centres and slides among others.

The Jungle Book will join existing licences including Peppa Pig, Noddy, Toy Story, Mr Men and Ben 10 in Mookie's portfolio.

"We are very excited to be partnering with CPLG and DQ Entertainment on Jungle Book," said Guy Orr, director of Mookie. "Everyone is familiar with Rudyard Kipling's classic story and here at Mookie we are looking forward to creating innovative and fun products inspired by this new series."

Vickie O'Malley, CPLG UK MD, added: "Mookie's PD team have developed some wonderful concepts for outdoor, wheeled toys and playballs which are a perfect fit to reflect Jungle Book's sense of adventure and excitement. We're absolutely delighted to have them on board."
