Co-distribution and production partners, Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop have secured a slate of international broadcast deals for the new animated Geronimo Stilton series.

TV2 Norway, MTV3 Finland and Nickelodeon Northern Europe International have picked up the rights for Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

In Iberian markets, Turner's Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Boing Channels have acquired the series for Spain, with sales also secured with RTP and Canal Panda in Portugal.

Based on the popular children's book series of the same name, Geronimo Stilton will debut on the Nickelodeon channels as early as this month in Belgium and the Netherlands, with an additional roll out in November in Denmark and Sweden.

The series was also pre-sold to Radio Canada, Rai (Italy) and M6 (France).

Following the sales success, a Christmas DVD release is scheduled for Spain and Benelux, while master toy partner Giochi Preziosi will launch the first toys in Spain and Portugal to accompany the series premiere.
