Steven Spielberg, the director of the eagerly awaited Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, has said he is happy to make another movie featuring the hero if fans enjoy the fourth instalment.

Spielberg was speaking at a press conference in Cannes, where the film received its premiere.

The BBC reported that Spielberg said: "Only if you want more. That's why we made this Indiana Jones. We'll certainly have our ear to the ground to hear what happens. That'll decide where we go from here."

Harrison Ford, who plays Indiana Jones, described Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as a "celebration of movies" in an interview with the BBC's Razia Iqbal.

The movie - which opens in the UK on May 22nd - begins in 1957 at the height of the Cold War. Indy is on the search for a solid gold skull stolen from a lost city and guarded by the living dead.
