Moshi Monsters: The Movie trailer arrives

Big screen tale follows the monsters as they set off on a race against time to collect the ransom for an rare Moshling egg

The first trailer for the upcoming Moshi Monsters: The Movie has been revealed by Mind Candy.

The 90 second advert shows off the first footage from the film, which marks a partnership between Mind Candy and Universal Pictures International Entertainment.

Produced by Mind Candy and Cornwall-based animation studio Spider Eye, Moshi Monsters: The Movie follows the six lead monsters as they set off on a race against time to collect the ransom for a rare Moshling egg.

The film is set for theatrical release in the UK and Ireland on December 20th.

The lead character in the film, Katsuma, is also taking centre stage in the new side-scrolling video game, Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed, which launches today on the Nintendo DS and 3DS.
