Mind Candy has revealed that the Moshi Monsters Village app has been downloaded over 1.5 million times worldwide.

To celebrate the milestone, players will be able to add new character Mr Moshi, based on Mind Candy founder Michael Acton Smith, in-game for special quests.

As well as over 1.5 million downloads, over ten million Moshlings have been rescued in-game and over 12 million game missions have been played by users across the globe.

Players can now add Mr Moshi as a friend in-game and visit his Village. Mr Moshi will also visit each player with a Time Limited quest - players that complete the request will be able to get a special reward, such as in-game currency or a mystery item.

Other interesting snippets since launch include over ten million Moshlings having been tickled and four million being washed. Players have bought ten million treats and over 15 million decorations from the shop using in-game currenct, Rox.
