Moshi Monsters toy licensee Vivid has sold over 40 million units of its Moshlings line.
The company reached the milestone as Series 4 hits shelves tomorrow on Saturday, August 25th. It is forecasting retail sales of some £70 million for 2012.
One new player joins the Moshi Monsters every ten seconds on average. The popular children's brand is owned by licensor Mind Candy.
“The Moshi toys continue to be a huge seller for us” said Emma Weber, marketing and licensing director at Vivid.
“With one player joining the Moshi online gaming community every 10 seconds across the world, this truly is an international toy and game phenomenon.”
