MTV adds SVP for mobile brand licensing

Michel Dupont takes on expanded role to boost firm's efforts in the sector.

MTV Networks International has promoted Michel Dupont to the newly created role of SVP, mobile brand licensing.

Dupont has been charged with leading and further developing all MTVNI's international mobile brand licensing efforts. In addition to this focus on Northern European markets such as the Netherlands and Germany, Dupont will work in collaboration with MTVNI's network of international channels across all brands including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.

"With mobile licensing deals gaining momentum across our operations around the globe, it's critical that we reflect their relevance within our international organisation," said Bob Bakish, president of MTVNI. "I'm confident that under Michel's leadership our international mobile brand licensing teams will be able to take our business to the next level."

Ides Ticket will replace Dupont as country manager, MTV Networks Belgium from December 1st.
