Multi-year TV deal secured for TNA Impact Wrestling

Two-year deal with Challenge TV keeps show on free TV until the end of 2013.

TNA Impact Wrestling will remain on free TV for a further two years, following the signing of a new two-year deal with Challenge TV.

The show will continue to air every Sunday at 9pm on the channel, just three days after it is broadcast in the US. TNA's monthly pay per view events - including Lockdown, Final Resolution and Bound for Glory - and spin off show TNA Xplosion will still be shwon on Wednesdays at 10pm.

"Our first year on Challenge TV has seen us double our viewership in the UK and Ireland - and we are really looking forward to another two years of even greater success," said Dixie Carter, president of TNA Impact Wrestling. "Our wonderful fans have made us the most watched wrestling programme in the UK and we're pleased this new agreement also gives them then security of knowing they can always watch us on the same channel every week."

The TNA Maximum Impact Tour will visit the UK from January 26th to 28th 2012, taking in Nottingham, Manchester and London.
