The multi-year agreement will see Global Brands Group acting as exclusive sub-agent and master licensee in Japan for Jim Henson Designs.
The group is set to fully exploit the brand across a range of categories in Japan including accessories, apparel, domestics and linens, footwear, gifts, children’s products, publishing, sporting goods stationary and toys and games.
The firm will also offer promotional and marketing events in Japan, including branded retail environments and exhibits.
The property includes all names, titles, characters, designs, copyrights and trademarks embodied in, or derived from, selected sketches, doodles, drawings and artwork created by the artist and film maker, Jim Henson.
