What were your responsibilities?
Returning the company to profitability as it wasn’t in great shape back in 1992 - things are a lot different now, I’m pleased to say.

Current job in licensing:
King of Fluff according to some (actually still Managing Director of a now, much changed, Rainbow Productions).

What are your responsibilities?
Meeting the rest of the industry in as many bars as possible.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
Doing a successful MBO at Rainbow Productions and seeing the company become an integral part of the licensing business.

What is the best licence you have worked on so far in your career?
The first big one for me was Bob the Builder and we were one of the very first licensees although, in my wisdom when I first heard of it, I did express my doubts about its long-term success...

What licence would you most like to have in your portfolio?
The only major licence we’re missing is Disney – who handle their key costume characters in-house.

If you could choose your dream job in licensing, what would it be and why?
Creator of the next red-hot property. It can’t be that hard surely...

What’s the best thing about working in the licensing business?
Meeting the rest of the industry in as many bars as possible.
