NATPE Budapest TV event kicks off

Warner Bros, CBS, NBC, BRB and more present at three-day TV supplier conference.

The NATPE Budapest event for TV programme suppliers and agencies is underway.

Registration for the event started yesterday, while exhibits kicked off today. These will run until Thursday, June 28th.

Attendees include Warner Bros, NBCUniversal International and CBS Studios International, which are hosting provide screenings. 

TV series distributor and licensor BRB Internacional is also at the event, at viewing box B-14. It is showcasing its new offerings Canimals (pictured), Kambu, Zoobabu, Mica and Khuda-Yana.

NATPE Budapest promises a host of networking activities and marketplace for TV stations, TV content buyers and other agencies. It claims it attracts over 1,200 industry professionals, representing 710 companies from more than 40 countries.

NATPE (National Association of TV Program Executives) also celebrates its 49th anniversary this year.
