Nickelodeon Consumer Products has revealed details of its first ever Spongebob Squarepants retail promotion in Russia, brokered by Plus Licens.

The promotion with Russian toy store Korablik - which has more than 50 outlets in Moscow and its surroundings - will comprise plush from C-Trade, PVC balls from John Rus/John GmbH and personal care products from Cotton Club.

Running from May 13th to 29th, the campaign will also include dedicated POS materials, meet and greet character appearances and digital banners on the localised Nickelodeon website.

"We are happy to expand our consumer products offering in Russia and CIS and get this property even closer to Spongebob fans in this competitive marketplace," said Nicholas Walters, senior director and country manager, Russia, Emerging Markets, VIMN.

Paul Tush, MD of Plus Licens Russia, added: "We are happy and proud to organise this first major Spongebob Squarepants retail promotion in Russia."
