Nelvana has revealed that it is producing 26 new episodes of two of its biggest kids shows.
The first cycle of Grossology sold to broadcasters including Discovery Kids in Canada and the US, YTV and Societe Radio Canada, Jetix in the UK, BVI in Mexico and Latin America, TFI in France, Mediaset in Italy, Nickelodeon in Germany and Benelux, ABC in Australia and Mnet in South Africa.
The series is targeted at six to ten year olds and is produced by Nelvana Studios. The merchandise programme is due to kick off in 2008, with Upper Deck Europe being the master toy partner in EMEA territories.
Meanwhile, Spin Master has developed a line of dice games replicating battles from Di-Gata Defenders, with merchandise launching in multiple markets throughout this year and 2008. TF1 Licences is the merchandise agent in France and Upper Deck is the toy line's distributor in Germany. Game Factory will release a Nintendo DS title mid-October in Europe and Canada.
