Boys' adventure series Storm Hawks is continuing to gain momentum with broadcasters, with Target revealing it has been snapped up to air on GMTV2, GMTV 2+1 in the Action Stations block and on CITV from March 24th.
The series will also continue to broadcast on Cartoon Network, which originally launched the show last August.
The licensing programme has already got off to a good start, with master toy licensee Spin Master kicking off the retail roll out at the end of February with an exclusive TV advertised launch with Toys R Us.
The toy line will launch with other retailers from May and will be followed by Sony Picture's DVD release in September and Topps Europe's trading cards, trading card games, collectable stickers and albums at the end of 2008/beginning of 2009.
"We are thrilled to have GMTV2 and CITV on board," said Shelley Kerridge, head of licensing at Target Entertainment. "Storm Hawks has got off to a fantastic start and is already building a strong fanbase amongst young boys, which the additional broadcast slots will enhance even further."
