On the back of the news about LazyTown Extra, the firm has inked deals with three top licensing agents in Benelux, Israel and Central Eastern Europe.
The three agents are Brand Licensing Israel, which will handle the merchandising programme in israel and Palestine; Jetix Licensing in Eastern Europe (where the show has recently rated as number one with four to eight year-olds) and Licence Connection in Benelux.
"We have watched LazyTown grow rapidly throughout the territory over the past six months since the inception of the European office, and these appointments are sure to help make LazyTown the biggest brand across Europe," said Katie Foster, director of brand and licensing Europe at LazyTown.
"Eastern Europe, Israel and Benelux are all very important markets for us, and LazyTown is performing brilliantly in the ratings across each region. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with each of these three companies, and are delighted to have such strong partners."
In addition, the latest LazyTown DVD is out today (June 16th). Once Upon a Time in LazyTown (£12.99) includes five episodes of the show and is the sixth DVD release.
