LazyTown has moved Haukur Gislason (right) into the position of head of TV Sales and Media, making him the first point of contact for broadcast partners and new media prospects. The former regional director for Nordic Territories has been with LazyTown since 2003.

Guomundur Magnason (left) joins the firm as managing director, International Brand and Licensing, where he will oversee all sales activities and strategy as well as continue to build its licensing programme. Magnason previously worked at US company Theater Mogul.

“For sometime I have been watching lazyTown’s progress with much interest. Being Icelandic, it was great motivation to all of us, to see a home-grown concept blossom into a worldwide phenomenon,” Magnason said.

“I am delighted to now be part of this inspirational and hard-working team, and look forward to seeing the LazyTown movement continue to inspire kids and carers alike across the globe.”
