CPLG has appointed a new general manager for its Iberia division.

Pau Pascual (pictured) takes on the newly created role, having joined CPLG Spain in 2010 as marketing, sales and retail director for all brands.

Prior to joining the firm, Pascual managed the global licensing operations of FC Barcelona Merchandising.

Pascual will be based in Barcelona, the HQ for CPLG Iberia and will report to CEO Peter Byrne.

Byrne commented: "I am very confident that the more retail-focused business under Pau's leadership will be a real catalyst to move our business forward."
