As the Latin American and Iberian markets grow in importance for the licensing business, Nickelodeon Consumer Products International has hired two new vice presidents to manage the regions.

Cristian Cabero (pictured) has been named VP, consumer products for Latin America, while Jose Maria Cendra will take up the same role for Iberia.

Cabero and Cendra will oversee all licensing efforts in their respective territories around properties from MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedu Central. Their remit will include category expansion, property management and retail initiatives.

Based in Mexico City, Cabero will report to Viacom International Media Networks LatAm COO, Scot McBride. He has previously worked for Walt Disney and Canal 13 among others.

Cendra, meanwhile, reports to both VIMN South SVP and general manager Raffaele Annecchino and Mike Connolly, SVP international consumer products, VIMN. He will be based in Madrid.
