Brand Extensions Russia JJP has appointed Marina Semenikhina as licensing manager for its Moscow office.

She will help develop and promote the company’s portfolio, as well as source Russian brands to bring to Western markets.

Semenikhina has over ten years of experience in marketing, licensing and sales within the Russian market. She previously worked at Russia’s leading paper stationery producer Hatber and helped source several licenses such as the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Prior to that, she held a marketing position at Russian school and office product distributor Relef Center.

Brand Extensions Russia was set up in December 2011 by JELC and PJB Brands.

JELC director Janet Woodward said: “At this important stage in the development of our joint venture it’s essential that we appoint someone who knows both Russia and marketing. That’s why we appointed Marina. She brings strong local market experience along with great communication and organisational skills to this job.

“We are delighted to welcome her to the Brand Extensions team.”
