The official Bob the Builder magazine from BBC Worldwide has been given a CGI makeover in line with the TV series.
The three-weekly magazine will include a range of activities, plus four free tools and an eight-page 'play and learn' special pull-out with maths activities to reflect what readers are learning at school.
The title's move to CGI follows the ratings success of the TV series Bob the Builder: Ready, Steady, Build, which airs on Cbeebies. The programme's average audience share has seen an increase of over 37 per cent since the CGI series first aired.
"The brand new CGI Bob the Builder magazine looks fantastic and will no doubt prove popular with fans of the CGI TV series," said Katie Price, senior director of global publishing at Hit Entertainment. "Since Hit properties Fireman Sam and Angelina Ballerina refreshed to a CGI appearance, magazine sales have increased dramatically, so we are confident the new Bob magazine will enjoy similar success."
