New make-up line adds colour to Strawberry Shortcake in Brazil

Deal struck by Exim Licensing Group with Climaco Group's Fenzza Makeup brand.

AG Properties has revealed a new line of Strawberry Shortcake make-up will be available for girls aged over five in Brazil.

The deal with Climaco Group's Fenzza make-up brand was negotiated by Exim Licensing Group, the licensing agency for AGP in Brazil.

The line incorporates several of the girls from the animated TV show, Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, which airs in Brazil on Disney Junior.

There are four individual make-up pallets - red for Strawberry Shortcake, orange for Orange Blossom, purple for Blueberry Muffin and green for Lemon Meringue.

There will also be body glitter, lip gloss, eye shadow and nail polish.

"Strawberry Shortcake is extremely popular in Brazil, a key market for our international expansion," said Carla Silva, SVP of global licensing at AG Properties. "The make-up line from Fenzza provides fun, quality products that lend themselves perfectly to the market, as Strawberry Shortcake fans will be able to express themselves just like the girls in Berry Bitty City."

With almost 500 licensees worldwide and retail sales revenue of $3.2 billion since 2003 alone, Strawberry Shortcake is a major force in the girls sector. Not bad for a 30 year-old.
