New York-based high end clothing firm, Greater Clothing Company has taken inspiration from National Geographic explorers for its latest apparel line.

Launching this autumn, the menswear line is drawn from the personal stories and photographs of National Geographic explorers.

The initial collection is split into two ranges. The Rugged Series is designed for the day to day explorer and includes items such as a Herringbone North Region Explorer Jacket and Vest.

The Storm Series, meanwhile, is a traditional rainwear collection of jackets and coats.

Both series will be available from October.

"Our goal is to enable people to explore the world and all it has to offer," said John Dumbacher, SVP licensing at National Geographic.
