A Simpsons branded Cheesy Slices food pack has made its supermarket debut in Morrisons.
The Homer Simpsons Cheesy Slices product joins the Bart Simpson Cheese Chuckles sku, which is also available from Asda and Tesco stores in the UK. Each pod includes a detachable sticker featuring a Simpsons family character.
The food is produced by Norseland and licensed by Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products.
Norseland’s Cheese Chuckles won the ‘Very Highly Commended’ award in the ‘Cheese for Children’ category at this year’s International Cheese Awards.
Matt Levett, Brand Marketing Manager at Norseland Ltd, said: “Families clearly love The Simpsonsand the success of our now award-winning Cheese Chuckles has been overwhelming. It has opened up opportunities to develop the range further and we’re confident that the new cheese slices will also be a big hit with the kids.”
Lindsey Chester, Licensing Manager at Fox Consumer Products, added: “We’re delighted that, in under a year, Norseland’s Cheese Chuckles has become such a commercial success. We plan to expand the Simpsons range of lunchbox items to grow our brand presence within this market.”
