A new 11-minute spin-off version of Cbeebies series Waybuloo will be unveiled at next month's Mipcom Junior.

The new format has been produced to feature a narrative element. Dave Lamb - who is the voice of Come Dine with Me - will narrate the story of each episode in his own unique way.

"This new production of Waybuloo introduces an added breadth to the pre-school series," said Nigel Pickard, CEO MEAA, UK kids and family, Zodiak Media Group. "The humourous multi-dimensional narrative is positioned to work on different levels which will appeal to pre-schoolers and parents alike, enhancing the family co-viewing experience."

Karen Vermeulen, SVP global sales and coproduction at Zodiak Kids, added: "We are delighted to be launching this new 11-minute version of Waybuloo at Mipcom Junior. The new format is perfect for the international market, offering a new dimension to an already successful series."
