Dracco is building on the success of Filly by ‘expanding its business to new technologies’.

The German toy maker has unveiled a new virtual world-style Filly website as well as an app for the pony brand, ahead of a new animated TV series set for early 2014.

Filly Photo Fun lets fans add cute Filly themed stamps and graphics to their photos. Users can make a photo collection and share it with friends.

At www.filly.com kids can customise their own Filly environments by purchasing items with a horseshoe currency earned by playing minigames such as Bake a Cupcake, allowing kids to ‘experience the fantasy of the Filly brand.’

“Dracco is excited by this new phase of digital entertainment with the launch of My Filly World on www.Filly.com and the Filly Photo Fun App,” commented Jacob Andersen, managing director of Dracco.

Axel Derendorf, head of international licensing and marketing at Dracco, said: “In only a few months, we have received an enthusiastic response to Filly.com and the Filly Photo Fun App from the industry and public. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Filly property and look forward to many more significant developments that will enhance the brand experience for fans worldwide.”

Dracco has sold over 60 million Filly collectables and it remains one of Germany's hottest properties.
