Nickelodeon UK has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster which will see the consumer publishing giatn produce a series of novels for the UK and Ireland to tie in with major live action shows like H20, Drake and Josh, Unfabulous, iCarly and The Naked Brothers Band.
The series launches in February 2009 with three titles: H20 Living with Secrets, H20 No Ordinary Girl and Drake and Josh Blues Brothers.
May 2009 will see the publication of the first Unfabulous tie-in novel, while a third H20 book will appear in June 2009.
The first Naked Brothers Band novel will also be published in June and the first iCarly novel will come out in the autumn. Plans are also well advanced to publish further novels in the last half of 2009.
The core market for the novels will be male and female consumers aged between seven and 12.
