Nickelodeon launches digital-only series in Tinkershrimp & Dutch

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland has ordered its first original digital-only series in the form of Tinkershrimp & Dutch.

The new animated series is based on two time-travelling creatures, and the five five-minute long episodes will air across Nickelodeon’s website and catch-up service on January 15th.

The comedy from London-based creative agency Ralph has been co-produced by Ralph creative director Gregor Stevenson and Chris Stack.

Acting as bodyguards for the monarch of New Great Britain King Hunnybun III, the two characters – a prawn and lemur – must evade the constant threats they face from the villain Michael The Fowl, a headless chicken.

The voices of Darren Evans, John Boyega and Sam Riley will star in the series.
