Nickelodeon rolls out core brands in Iberia

New deals secured for Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants.

Nickelodeon Consumer Products International is rolling out a range of products for its Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants brands across the Iberian Peninsula.

In Spain, Regal Arts has signed up to produce a range of wood products for Spongebob Squarepants, including boxes, chests, pencil holders, photo frames and clocks.

Artesania Cerda has Spongebob and Dora for a range of fashion and accessories including bags, belts, caps, gloves, scarves, sunglasses, umbrellas and raincoats.

Footwear licensee Bernada has come on board for trainers and sports shoes featuring Spongebob, while United Labels Iberica will produce a wide variety of products - from board games and garden accessories, through to wallets, purses and toys. BYC Corona, meanwhile, will be launching Spongebob car booster seats and car chairs.

Sticking with Spain, and NCP has signed up Exit Toys and Games for a sticker pack, while Ingo Devices has confirmed for a digital camera promotion with El Pais and department store group, El Corte Ingles.

Bresson Internacional has signed two separate deals covering both brands.

In deals covering Spain and Portugal for Spongebob, Rusque will supply branded umbrellas, which also covers Andorra; Lugar Diffusion has signed up for hair and fashion accessories; and Editorial Everest will roll out colouring, activity, story and chapter books, plus sound books, which are exclusive to Carrefour Spain in November.

Surplastik has inked a deal for Dora bath sponges for the same territories, while Vidal is on board for Spongebob wet wipes, also for Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
