Nickelodeon Consumer Products has revealed a major new international partnership with Eaglemoss Publishing Group.
The three-year deal gives Eaglemoss first option on all Nickelodeon properties with a view to developing partworks and press collections across the globe (excluding US).
The agreement was announced at Frankfurt Book Fair.
The partnership covers more than 35 Nickelodeon properties, including Dora, Spongebob Squarepants and iCarly. A minimum of four new products will be developed per year, of which two will be traditional partworks. The first - Dora the Explorer Little Cooks Collection - is currently testing in the UK. The cooking and picnic collection set includes exclusive silicon bakeware and Dora plate and cutlery set.
"This is a significant new direction for NCP which positions us perfectly to take an even greater share of a growing industry, estimated to be worth $1 billion," said Paul Allen, SVP, global publishing at NCP. "Eaglemoss' ability to create innovative partworks is second to none."
