Norton Motorcycles signs US apparel deal

Key partner now on board following agreement with agency The Sharpe Company.

The US licensing agency for Norton Motorcycles, The Sharpe Company has signed up NTD Apparel as the anchor apparel partner for the brand.

NTD will work to establish a North American presence for the 100 year-old racing brand via its wide range of retail partners and will work in conjunction with the UK programme when it launches in the autumn.

"Sharpe is excited to announce our first licensing partner," said Charlie Day, president of the company. "NTD has a great design vision for the brand as it develops its apparel line. The retro imagery coupled with the contemporary energetic look and feel of the new motorcycles make for an exciting fashion statement."

NTD will produce a sports and activewear line for men, women and boys. The apparel will feature the Norton logo and trademarks including the Manx, Atlas, Commando and Dominator brands.
