It revealed that it had snapped up the Noddy brand just over a week ago, and now Classic Media has acquired the rights to another Chorion property, Olivia.
Olivia is based on the children's books by Ian Falconer, first published in 2000. More than six million Olivia books have been sold worldwide, and in 2009 it debuted as a 3D CG TV series on Nick Jr in the US, before launching in other territories.
"Olivia has a strong universal appeal with young girls and their families," said Mary Durkan, MD of Chorion. "We are thrilled that Classic Media will continue to introduce her to new audiences worldwide."
