Now Moshi Monsters makes music move

Mind Candy follows up online success with launch of entertainment division.

Mind Candy is continuing to move beyond its digital roots, with the launch of a new record label, Moshi Music.

Debut single The Moshi Dance from Moshling starlet Lady Goo Goo will be available to download on iTunes from September 18th, with an album also in the works for later in the year.

The official single is being launched due to strong demand after the success of Lady Goo Goo on YouTube - The Moshi Dance is currently notching up around one million views a month.

The single is the first of a number of planned releases featuring other Moshi Music stars including Dustbin Beaver, 49 Pence, Broccoli Spears and Avril Le Scream.

"We released the Lady Goo Goo music video on YouTube as a bit of an experiment and were amazed at the response and how fast it spread," said Michael Acton Smith, creator of Moshi Monsters and CEO of Mind Candy. "Kids loved it so we thought it would be smart to release it and are developing many more tracks."
