Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products has been busy securing deals in the food and drinks category for two of its key brands.
Brands4Kids has signed for a range of Spongebob Squarepants branded foods for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The line focuses on low fat, low salt and high fibre snacks and breakfast foods.
Meanwhile, in France and Belgium, Dora the Explorer biscuits have been given a make-over with new packaging and a new recipe, which has been created without carbohydrates. The products is produced by licensee United Biscuits through its BN brand.
In a first for the Greek market, food dye maker Yiotis has signed to supply Easter egg decoration kits branded with Spongebob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer across Greece, Cyprus, Georgia, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Hungary.
Finally, in the UK, NVCP has signed three deals for Dora. Boost Juice is giving away special Dora cups with orders for healthy children's smoothies; Edible Arrangements has signed up to supply Dora branded fruit bouquets; and a deal with Nestle has been extended for fromage frais.
