The licensed One Direction stickers from Panini have topped several retail sales charts.
The official sticker collection was the number one collection in Tesco, Co-op, One Stop, WH Smith and Martin McColl last week, following a launch campaign consisting of press and social media activity, as well as nationwide sampling.
Jess Tadmor, head of marketing at Panini, said: "One Direction is a fantastic licence to be working with and we’re delighted that retail and promotional partners are seeing the potential of this collection."
A fan added: "YESSSSSS, Christmas came early for Santy, 1D sticker book, eeeee.”
Activity is due to run into the Christmas period, with an album and sticker packet being cover mounted on Mizz magazine, on sale today (December 13th).
There will also be giveaways on Facebook and Twitter, further sampling campaigns and press activity.
The newsstand distributor for the 1D sticker collection is Marketforce and the toy retail distributor is Click.
