One Direction's officially licensed calendar is currently outselling all others.

Calendar specialist Danilo compiled the list in conjunction with HMV, taking into account sales from other retailers including Amazon and Clintons.

Cliff Richard is officially more popular than Justin Bieber (in terms of calendars) - the 71 year-old took the second place spot with last year's favourite Bieber in third, followed by boy band JLS in fourth.

Elvis re-entered the calendar chart, for the first time since 2002, at number seven.

Manchester United and Liverpool are so far outselling the footballing competition coming in fifth and sixth place, respectively.

Moshi Monsters secured ninth place in front of The Vampire Diaries at ten.
