Over the Moon appoints Rachel Needs

Former Bluebird Brands exec joins design firm as brands development director.

Design company Over the Moon has hired Rachel Needs as its new brands development director.

Needs (pictured) was formerly brands and licensing director at Bluebird Brands, where she developed lines for Pip the Cat, as well as other properties including Bang on the Door FABric Animals, Collins Gem, Mr Men and Little Miss, Goochicoo and Monkey.

"We are so pleased to have Rachel joining us as she will help take Over the Moon to the next level in the marketplace," said Andrew Bendy, Over the Moon's MD. "This is a particularly exciting time for us as Pip is bigger than ever and announcements will soon be made regarding projects in development, and a fantastic new property that we are set to launch."
