Overhaul for Strawberry Shortcake online

New dedicated websites to launch in key territories including games, activities and videos.

A new global network of official Strawberry Shortcake websites are to launch throughout the US and Europe.

A total of 14 new websites will aim to connect fans across the world to the character and her new home, Berry Bitty City.

Lisa Wascovich, director of digital media for brand owner AG Properties, said: "This extraordinary global website initiative brings Strawberry Shortcake to life with vibrant designs and engaging interactive elements, and then directly into the homes of fans in 14 different countries."

"We've truly taken Strawberry Shortcake global in the digital space with this international network of new websites that will activate the brand and engage young girls in many markets around the world," added Michael Berreth, executive director of marketing at Cookie Jar Entertainment. "Given the media consumption habits of young kids today, these websites will be strategically very important to maintain Strawberry Shortcake's brand relevance."
