Oxford adds Cartorama to licensee line-up

Firm signs two-year deal to produce bags, paper goods, stationery and gift items.

The University of Oxford brand licensing programme continues to expand, adding stationery specialist Cartorama to its ranks.

The firm has signed a two-year deal with Oxford to produce ranges of bags, paper goods, stationery and gift items. The deal was brokered by Oxford's agent for the UK and Europe, Performance Brands.

"Back to school is a core category focus for Oxford, and Cartorama's track record in this area is very impressive," said Chris Evans, MD of Oxford Limited. "They are known for their creative design and product innovation, as well as their sales network and strong retail distribution in Italy, and we are very much looking forward to developing the Oxford brand with such an ambitious and forward thinking company."

Cartorama also works with licences including Disney, Benetton, Ferrari and Hello Kitty.
