Milan-based Atlantyca Entertainment has secured a multi-year Italian licensing deal with Panini for the new Geronimo Stilton animation.
The launch of the Panini products will be coordinated with the premiere of the new series on Italy's Rai this month. The company will be developing a variety of Geronimo-branded sticker related products including sticker collections, stack books, sticker sheets and albums.
The deal will run through until March 2012.
"Panini is considered an absolute market leader in collectibles and stationery products," said Atlantyca's director of licensing, Maria Giovanna Gurrieri. "We are thrilled to be partnering with them on this, our flagship animated property.
"Kids have collected stickers for many years, it is simply one of the most unique ways to capture the best and most memorable moments of a series."
