Mexican distributor and retailer Explo World is to create a new range of product for Paper Island's sentiment brand, Fizzy Moon.

The firm will launch stationery, backpacks, calendars, plush and slippers for the Mexican market.

"Fizzy Moon is making great headway in territories such as Russia, Italy, Poland and Czech Republic," said Allison Myers, licensing manager at Paper Island. "We are very excited to be working with Explo World to create some amazing product ranges."

Luis Miguel, MD of Explo World, added: "Cute brands such as Fizzy Moon are a perfect addition to the Explo World portfolio, and we look forward to introducing this popular character to Mexico."

It's been a busy time of late for the brand, with UK apparel manufacturer WW Group signing up for adult and children's nightwear. Other new signings include calendars in Sweden, Denmark and Finland through licensee Burde; stationery, dated product, greeting cards, wrap and chocolate in the Czech Republic through Stil Trade and Albi; plus back to school product in the Ukraine from Shkolyaryk Publishing.
