Paramount licensee Museum Replicas has created a Braveheart 'tartan' collectible sword, which has apparently been made exactly as an original would have been made during the 13th century.

Museum Replicas worked directly with the 'sword master' from the original movie, creating a replica based on the actual sword carried by William Wallace.

The sword includes a wood display plaque with custom graphics and an engraved medallion, plus an actual tartan strip of wool as seen in the film.

The Braveheart sword will retail for $300 and will be available in the US from November 1st.
