It may be a nail-biting finish to England's Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, but the brand itself continues to grow, with Parragon Books reaping the rewards with record sell-in of its official 2008 annual.
In a deal brokered by Copyright Promotions Sport on behalf of The FA, Parragon was awarded the official England children's and event publishing rights earlier in the year.
Made up of five sections and written specifically for the young footballl fan, the annual covers such topics as football skills, player profiles, the history of the game and a special section devoted to the new Wembley stadium.
Ayshea Scharf, Parragon's licensed publishing director, believes that the annual "reflects Parragon's ongoing strategy of delivering outstanding value and content across our range of publishing".
Looking ahead, the England publishing programme will see a number of new titles including action photography and editorial content across activity, quiz, trivia, fiction and poster books amongst others.
