Pedigree Books adds Woman's Weekly to Yearbook line

Pedigree Books is expanding its adult range of Yearbooks with two new titles: Woman's Weekly 2014 and Woman's Weekly Seasonal Recipes.

The launch of the new titles is being supported by key retailers including Argos, WH Smiths and Sainsbury's.

The Woman's Weekly 2014 Yearbook will feature some of the most popular pieces and features from the magazine including short stories, craft ideas, garden tips, puzzle pages and a week-by-week diary.

Woman's Weekly Seasonal Recipes will be a dedicated collection of recipes from the Woman's Weekly Cookery team.

The first titles in the Yearbooks range were launched last year and included popular publications such as Yours, National Geographic and Autocar.

The line is being marketed as the affordable Christmas gift for adults.

Woman's Weekly Publisher, Adrian Booker, said: "We are delighted to be able to team up with Pedigree Books to deliver this new offering from Woman's Weekly.

"For over 100 years Woman's Weekly has prided itself on delivering the very best content to its readers, these books will continue that tradition and will be a fantastic addition for our readers as well as appealing to a much wider audience."

Publishing and sales directorate Pedigree Books, Matthew reynolds, said: "Yearbooks have proven to be a big hit for us and we are keeping the momentum going in 2013 by adding these fantastic new consumer mega brands to the range.

"The adult market can be a very difficult customer base to buy a gift for but Yearbooks now offer retailers and consumers a range of Christmas gifts featuring some of the UK's most recognisable consumer brands.

"The concept is really taking off and we see Yearbooks as a key growth format for retailers and we are focused on building and developing the category to match the success of Annuals."
