Pedigree Books renews Star Wars licence

Deal extended until 2014; the Annual specialist will now produce more publications under the new agreement.

With Christmas near and the Annual buying season well underway, Pedigree Books has recieved a gift of its own – renewing its Star Wars deal with Lucas Licensing until 2014.

The new arrangement also includes the rights to make Star Wars Collector's Annuals and Activity Handbooks.

"We are delighted to have extended our relationship with Star Wars," said Matthew Reynolds, sales and licensing manager at Pedigree Books.

"It is the world's top boys' brand and it’s obviously very pleasing to be renewing our license with Lucas Licensing again. Over the next period we are adding new products to our portfolio and are looking forward to presenting them to our retail trade partners."

Pedigree also publishes annuals for Pokemon, X Factor, Shoot and Family Guy.
