Pedigree Books has renewed its agreements with top brands Barbie and Pokémon.

The new deals mean that the firm will release the Barbie and Pokémon annuals in August, both including a mix of stories, activities, quizzes and facts.

"Both Barbie and Pokémon are huge brands and we are delighted to continue our long established and successful partnerships together," said Matthew Reynolds, sales and licensing manager at Pedigree Books. "These bolster our highly successful annuals range during a period of time when we are adding to our extensive portfolio with exciting new brands and product concepts."

Barbie?s arrival 50 years ago wasn?t just a product launch; it was part of, and a reflection of, a cultural change which saw young people assuming new significance and a new identity in the world.
